The Mortgage Bankers Association has announced that Robert D. “Bob” Broeksmit has been named the new president and chief executive officer, replacing David H. Stevens who is retiring at the end of September.

Prior to joining Treliant in 2011, Broeksmit served as president of B.F. Saul Mortgage Company and as executive vice president of Chevy Chase Bank.
Broeksmit is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) who has spent his entire 33-year career in the mortgage industry.
His first day at MBA will be August 20, 2018.
