Colorado Public Radio Board of Directors announced on Friday that they have appointed Stewart Vanderwilt as the new president of the organization.
For the past ten years, Vanderwilt has served as director and general manager of Austin-based public radio station KUT-FM. Prior to that, Vanderwilt spent 15 years working at WBST-FM in Muncie, IN, including as general manager.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to contribute my expertise in content creation, management and fundraising to help CPR further its mission and become an even more vital resource to the Colorado community,” said Vanderwilt in the press release.
Vanderwilt succeeds Max Wycisk, who is retiring on June 30, 2018.
