Recode Editor-in-Chief Dan Frommer announced that Peter Kafka was promoted to executive editor at Recode, succeeding Kara Swisher, who was promoted to editor-at-large.
Kafka joined Recode in 2014 as a writer and became senior editor in 2015. Prior to that, Kafka served as the senior editor at All Things Digital and as a writer and editor at Forbes.
Kafka will continue to lead Recode’s media coverage while becoming more involved in decision-making and day-to-day news flow.
