Marisa Bellack Named Europe Editor at Washington Post

Foreign Editor Douglas Jehl and Deputy Foreign Editor Mary Beth Sheridan at the Washington Post announced the appointment of Marisa Bellack as the newspaper’s new Europe editor, effective February 26, 2018.

Bellack will oversee reporters based in London, Brussels, Paris, and Berlin. Bellack first joined the Post in 2007 and is currently serving as deputy editor of Post Outlook, the Post’s digital opinion page.

Prior to that, Bellack wrote for the National Journal as a staff writer, served as an assistant editor at the New Republic, and wrote as a reporter for the Providence Journal and for Newsday.
