Monica Matthews
Monica Matthews took on the role of chief human capital officer at the Department of Housing and Urban Development at the end of May.
Since February 2018, Matthews served as director of human capital client services at the Department of Commerce. Prior to this, she was the executive advisor for human capital at the General Services Administration and has held various positions at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Matthews received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland (College Park) and MS in leadership at the Brookings Institution.
