Barry King

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has a new deputy chief financial officer in Barry King. He joins the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), where he was previously chief, operations and support branch in OMB’s national security division. He is a member of the Senior Executive Service with over 10 years of government experience at OMB and the White House National Security Council Staff.

In his new position, King reports to James “Trey” Treadwell, who was appointed assistant director of national intelligence and IC CFO in July. King will assist Treadwell to support the Director of National Intelligence by developing and overseeing budget operations and performance.

A graduate of The George Washington University’s School of Business, King earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business in 2001. He went on to Yale University, graduating in 2006 with an M.A. in international relations.
