Twitter COO Resigns to Become CEO of SoFi

Twitter, Inc. announced that Chief Operating Officer Anthony Noto is resigning to join Social Finance (SoFi), a privately held financial tech company, as their new chief executive officer.

His new role at SoFi takes effect on March 1, 2018.

Noto first joined Twitter as chief financial officer in 2014 and has served as chief operating officer since 2016.

Other members of Twitter’s management team will be taking over Noto’s responsibilities, which include overseeing all of the company’s revenue-generating operations.
