Amit Singh
Palo Alto Networks Inc. named Amit K. Singh as its new president, effective November 1, reporting to CEO Nikesh Arora. He succeeds Mark Anderson, who will remain with the company as an advisor until May 1, 2019.
Singh joins Palo Alto Networks from Alphabet Inc.’s Google, where he was most recently vice president, business and operations for virtual reality. Before that, he was president of Google Cloud from 2010 to 2016.
Before his stint at Google, Singh worked at Oracle Corp. for 20 years, where he helped the technology giant acquire and integrate PeopleSoft, Agile and Demantra.
