Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. announced that Judith McKenna will be promoted to president and chief executive officer of Walmart International, the company’s second-largest operating segment, and will report to Walmart’s President and Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon.
McKenna will begin her new role on February 1, 2018, and will be succeeding David Cheesewright, who has served in the role since 2014.
McKenna’s currently executive vice president and chief operating officer of Walmart U.S., a role she’s been serving in since 2014.
