Danaher Corporation announced today that Chief Financial Officer Daniel L. Comas would be stepping down from his position on January 1, 2019, at which time he will remain with the company as an executive vice president as he slowly transitions into retirement.
Matthew R. McGrew, group chief financial officer of diagnostics and dental, will succeed him as chief financial officer.
McGrew started at Danaher in 2004 as director of M&A Finance and has served in his current role as group CFO since 2012.
Prior to joining Danaher, McGrew served as a director in the Transaction Services Group at KPMG.
McGrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University.
