Van Hilleary
Rep.-elect John Rose (R-TN, 6th) selected former Congressman William “Van” Hilleary to serve as his chief of staff, effective Jan. 3. “He stood firmly against the proposed state income tax and has a conservative track record that speaks for itself,” according to Rose’s Facebook announcement.
Hilleary previously represented Tennessee’s 4th Congressional District from 1995 to 2003 and was most recently a senior advisor at Dentons LLP.
